I suppose if I'm going to spend a Saturday evening coding and working on my taxes, I might as well enjoy a Mephistopheles and some Cage while I'm at it. The Cage is "Three Dances for Two Prepared Pianos", and it's a good match for this ridiculously rich 15% ABV stout.
Last weekend was a good weekend for beer. I can't even remember all of what I had. Among them were a couple of Basses at The Office (not the office), a Koenig Ludwig Weissbier, a Delirium Tremens, and something that Zhenya didn't want to finish at the Pig, and a Lump of Coal, a Yeti, New Holland Pilgrim's Dole wheatwine (at Crane Alley) and Dragon's Milk ale, a barleywine-style ale from Flying Dog, some Berghoff, and at least one other stout that I bought but can't remember. It's not as much as it sounds. Honestly.
Though I suppose you'd start to wonder once I told you about the pepper vodka, chili powder vodka (!), Moët & Chandon, and various other spirits I had for New Year's.
Somewhere in there, I saw Juno, and it was as good as everyone is saying. Now if I could only buy the complete soundtrack online...
