Here is a sampling of some of the music provided to set the mood during the BFG event.
Building Moods
The "moods" are largely ambient pieces which play under the themes, clarions and grooves. Which mood is playing depends on the building's mood, which changes arbitrarily as the game progresses. One unique mood is the score mood — when this mood is playing, the instrumentation changes based on which team is in the lead!
Team Themes
These are the theme songs for each of the four races. Which theme is playing depends on which team is in the lead. These are highly melodic, rhythmic pieces, in contrast to the building moods. Also found playing over the Siebel speakers from time to time are clarions, which are essentially condensed versions of the themes. A team's clarion plays when that team scores a point.
Grooves
These are rhythm-centered pieces that play for a few measures while a member of a team is carrying out a task. Here are two examples:
