my mind
not knowing
where to go
turned inward
found nothing
obscene darkness
but a path
strewn with debris
led somewhere
still dark
but not alone
something pulled me
and the horror
of that timeless place
lay down to die
as i stumbled away
through the ruins
to tomorrow
